prayerPrayer Shawl Class - Beyond Beginner knitting   This class is a beyond beginner knitting style using knit and purl, so if you can cast on and knit a row, give it a try. We will explain the basics of the Prayer Shawl Ministry while teaching you how to "knit on the fringe". If you have knit lots, if you knit just a little or if you've never knit before, we will help you get started on something that will bless you as much as the person you are knitting the shawl for. You can bring your own supplies ( 3 balls Lion brand "Homespun" wool available @ Michaels , 9 or 10 mm knitting needles and enthusiasm) or you can purchase a kit from us. We will bring a supply of wool and needles. Instructions and prayers will be given to you to take home. Maximum 10 participants. Led by Gwyn Beer and Shonnet Allen

Bonding with Colour   This is a foundation course to teach artists, people, how to make every colour from Red, Yellow, and Blue along with white. It’s hands-on, fun and an essential part (like a foundation is to a house) to an artist’s understanding of using colour in their work. Open to teens and up. Please let me know if you are interested in this class so we know how many supplies we need to buy. Instructor: LeEtta Fontaine

Improv with Debra Donohue    Explore your creativity through the colours and textures of different natural fibres. Weaving in lap loom you will be able to take home a small project. We will also experiment with more elaborate types of looms and weaving structures. No previous experience required. Workshop open to children (above 6) and adults. Material and equipment provided, you come with the wish to learn and have fun. Instructor: Isabela Seabra Boyd, RPC & fibre artist.

Culinary Arts with Vern Dean     Some good Baking essentials to enhance many meals. Try your hand at quick breads and learn some interesting variations to mix it up a little. I will provide recipes for everyone to take home. Ages 10 & up. Numbers dependent on availability of kitchen.

prayerUkrainian Easter Eggs with Loralie Dean   Participants will learn, and try for themselves, the ancient art of decorating regular chicken eggs using beeswax and dyes in a variety of colours. Ages 12 and up. Maximum of 12 bodies.

Rhythm Guitar with David Sinclair   Expand your rhythm repertoire with the expert help from professional guitarist David Sinclair

Photography with Stacy Hicks   " I would be teaching is how to take a good picture. I go over framing a shot, lines, textures, where to find a picture, etc. We would be free to move around the campground. It would be great if participants taking the class have a digital camera. I teach a similar class at Kluane to my last year campers, so starting at age 14 is good. "

Poetry Class with Catherine Peter   Voices through the spoken word can unite the gap between young and old. You are faced with the opportunity to recreate your own voice and experience, bridging disparities and inspiring our future leaders. After listening and viewing examples of published performers and poets, participants will write their own voices through poetry and discover the stories they need to share. At the close of this workshop, participants will be challenged to unearth voices in their own communities, spreading the value of life’s stories. Age level should be 14 and up, with a total of about 15 participants.

Parody Workshop with Catherine Peter and Sean Langdon   "Living in a Samish Paradise" - The Serious Art of Parodies In this class we will get creative by taking a popular song and making it our own. We will learn from the Greats before us, "Weird Al" Yankovic and Cletus T. Judd, and create a modern day masterpiece (or something like it)! Any Ages . No Limit on Number of Participants

Porcelain Painting with Linda Phelps   Linda Phelps is eager to do a free form porcelain painting class. Design your very own funky coffee mug and fire it so you can take it home with you . How cool is that ? Mugs, paints and painting utensils are provided. Maximum 12 per class.

prayerSwing Choir with Hoot Gibson   Have fun with a a lovely vocal arrangement of a swing standard which will be performed at the talent show.

Swing Band with David Sinclair and Hoot   To accompany the swing choir we work out a hot arrangement of the same song. All instruments are welcome.

Songwriter's Circle   Join the group of accomplished songwriters Don McLeod, Dan Beer and Edith Wallace as they share their songs and their stories . An inspirational event for anyone.

• Take the CHUCKANUT DR/ WA-11 N exit,EXIT 231, toward BOW-EDISON.
0.3 mi (0.5k)
• Turn RIGHT (Northbound) or LEFT (Southbound)onto WA-11/CHUCKANUT DR.
2.9 mi (4.6k)
• Turn LEFT onto ALLEN WEST RD (You will pass the WD Grocery store on the right just before the intersection.) 3.1 mi (5k)
• Turn RIGHT onto FARM TO MARKET RD. 0.3 mi (0.5k)
• Turn LEFT onto D'ARCY RD. 1.3 mi (2k)
• Turn RIGHT onto BAYVIEW-EDISON RD. 2.0 mi (3.2k)
• Turn LEFT onto SAMISH ISLAND RD. (After you pass a 35 MPH sign, you will see that the main road will make a left hand turn as it sweeps uphill.).........2.2 mi (3.5k)
• Turn RIGHT onto SCOTT RD. You will go past the church and a house on the left. The Campground entrance is just passed these on the left hand side of SCOTT RD.
